Our family has decided to embark on an adventure that combines our fascination with the painted rock movement with our love for all things Disney. We have set 10 Disney-themed painted rocks on a road trip to the happiest place on earth. They will all start from different locations around the United States (and internationally soon) and make their way to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
On to Texas where we stopped in San Angelo, San Antonio and Houston. I visited the Alamo, rode down the Riverwalk and ate at an Irish Pub. Then into Louisiana, 3 plantations, street jazz and carriage ride through French Quarter and finally a swamp boat tour, did you see that alligator!?! Hello Mississippi!
We went and stayed with family in Arizona and saw the Granite Hotshot Memorial. I saw the Biosphere2 and although it is amazing, I’m happy they didn’t leave me there because in New Mexico we went down into Carlsbad Caverns! I saw rocks (maybe cousins?) and formations thousands of years old.
I flew to western Washington state in a little brown box. The flight was lonely, but my friend, Chris, was so excited to see me that I forgot all about it. We are off to begin our journey across the states and should arrive in Disney by the 27th of this month.!
