Our family has decided to embark on an adventure that combines our fascination with the painted rock movement with our love for all things Disney. We have set 10 Disney-themed painted rocks on a road trip to the happiest place on earth. They will all start from different locations around the United States (and internationally soon) and make their way to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
Here’s where the fun begins—you get to be a part of their journey! If you should find one of our rocks snap a pic of where you found it (bonus points for cool points-of-interest along the way), then give it a lift as far as you can towards its destination. Leave a comment and pics on that rock’s page to document that leg of the journey! We only have two stipulations… We want our rocks to keep moving, so don’t keep the joy to yourself, and there is no “rock hiding” on Disney property (see FAQ section for more details on that).
Finally, if you’re lucky enough to be the one who crosses the finish line at WDW, please post lots of pictures and let all of us know how the rock enjoyed its vacation! Then feel free to take the rock home and let it start its journey all over again!
We can’t wait to see where our rocks go, and are super excited to have you along on our road trip!

I’m a rock and rolling stone…
All of our rocks are hand-painted, given a protective finish and sent out into the wild to find their way to Disney. While all of them are Disney-themed, there are some that carry with them an additional special meaning. Click on the rocks below to see where each of them started, where they are now, and how many other people have contributed to their journey! If you happen to find one of our rocks, go to it’s page and leave a picture, comment, and location of where you’ve left it so we can track the progress together.
